Corrections Policy
When Europe Unfolded gets something wrong, we correct it openly, promptly, and in the same place readers saw the error.
How corrections work
- Minor errors (spelling, grammar, a wrong link) are fixed silently, unless they change the meaning of a story.
- Material errors (a wrong figure, date, name or claim) are corrected in the article itself, with a dated correction note at the foot of the article stating what changed and when.
- Serious errors are also noted on the homepage's latest-news section until the correction is a day old.
- We do not quietly delete published articles. If an article is withdrawn, a notice explains why.
Report an error
Contact the newsroom through our Contact page routes, giving the article headline, the error, and a public source for the correct information where possible.
